The Northwest IB Association is a sub-regional organization of schools throughout Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska that offer International Baccalaureate programs. The purpose of the organization is to promote the IB throughout the sub-region by:

  • Offering assistance to applicant schools and newly authorized schools;
  • Providing professional development for IB teachers from the member schools;
  • Advocating for friendly admissions policies, advanced standing, and credit from colleges and universities; and
  • Serving as a liaison between the member schools and various business and government entities.
